Thank you, from Utica Creative Reuse!

We have so many people to thank after our first successful pop-up events! Thank you to The Tramontane Cafe and The Other Side Gallery for hosting us, all of our amazing volunteers, participating artists, everyone who donated materials, and all of our visitors! We met so many interesting artists and community members interested in reuse who want to make the world a more beautiful and sustainable place!

We are so grateful for all of the donations we have been receiving, and we are having a lot of fun sorting through them. We can’t wait for you to see it all and put it to good use!

While we continue to search for a permanent space, and work towards our first *shopping* event, we will continue to have pop-up donation sites around town. Check out our calendar at uticacreativereuse.org/events.

FAQ: “What can I donate?”

Our goal is to keep stuff out of the landfill (or your basement/garage/attic!) and get it into the hands of artists, crafters, sculptors, makers, crocheters, knitters, sewers, students, teachers, hobbyists, DIYers…anyone who will use it!

So before you throw something away, check out our donations list at uticacreativereuse.org/donate, or send us a message if you have questions. If you love our mission, please help us by sharing our info with your community!

Basic donation guidelines:

• Is it clean? (i.e. no mold, food residue, or bugs please!)
• Can it be reused or repurposed (for art, crafting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, jewelry-making, beading, organizing, storage, DIY, or other projects)?
• Would you give it to a friend to use?
• Please make sure paint, ink, glue or other things that might leak are sealed and secured!
