Feathered Friends Eco-Art Workshop

What: In this free workshop, young artists will show off their creativity by constructing tiny bird sculptures using recycled materials. From colorful feathers to discarded cardboard, we’ll transform everyday items you normally put in the recycle bin! Guided by an expert crafter, participants will learn how to create something beautiful from everyday materials.

Kid friendly event! While the project is open to artists of all ages, it’s tailored especially for ages 3 to 12.

Trash to Treasure Workshop & Utica Creative Reuse Donation Site

What: Open Studio workshop hosted by local artists to help inspire and assist you in working with found objects, unusual materials, and trash for participating in the 2024 Trash to Treasure Art Challenge.

Trash to Treasure Project submission Deadline: May 31, 2024

Call for Artists: Clean up litter and create art out of found objects. Submit documentation of your cleanup and art project to be considered for inclusion in a group exhibition. Artists of all ages and abilities encouraged to participate! Artists selected for the gallery exhibition will receive a modest stipend.
