Our First 3 Months
This Thanksgiving, we are so very thankful for everyone who has made Utica Creative Reuse possible, including donors, participating artists, volunteers, instructors, and community partners!

Upcoming Events
November 2023
Friday 11/17: We’re excited to team up with Love & Stitches this month, our local yarn store! We will be having a pop up donation site at the shop during Fiber Friday on 11/17 from 5-7pm. Bring a project you’re working on, or any questions you have about knitting or crocheting!
Saturday 11/18: We had a great time at our first free workshop, learning visible mending with Niki in Clinton, NY at Evolve: Eco Refillery and Gifts. If you missed it, we will be having a second class at the Utica Public Library on Saturday 11/18 from 10am – 12pm. Contact us to sign up!
Wednesday 11/29: We received lots of donations at our pop ups at the Tramontane Cafe earlier this month, and we will be back there after Thanksgiving on Wednesday 11/29 from 11am – 4pm!
December 2023
Wednesday 12/13 & Thursday 12/14: at The Other Side Gallery, 4-8pm
We will have a pop up donation site for all of your unwanted art supplies and our traveling art gallery with handmade local art for sale. Cafe Domenico next door is open until 8pm, so grab a hot drink and join us for a Gift Wrapping Bee! We’ll have tape, scissors, and ribbons…bring your wrapping paper and gifts and wrap your presents with us!

Exhibit in Our Traveling Gallery
We are always seeking artists and instructors to join us at our pop up events. Please contact us if you are interested in displaying your work for sale (or just to show) in our traveling gallery, give a talk about your process, or teach a workshop!
About Gallery Sales:
Visiting artists can conduct sales independently OR they will receive 100% of profit of sales, minus sales tax collected for all sales conducted by our traveling gallery, Creative Utica, LLC.
We ask for a $15 donation to cover the cost of gallery space and Square and credit card fees from sales, but this fee can be waived if it is a financial hardship for the artist, or if you’re not planning to sell anything through our gallery!
