Open Call for Artists: Trash to Treasure Art Challenge
Participants must choose a place in Utica, NY to clean up litter and then create a work of art incorporating trash or found objects from their cleanup. A group exhibition in July 2024 will showcase a selection of works and offer space for community members to participate in discussions about the environment.
Project submission deadline: May 31, 2024
Artists of all ages and abilities are encouraged to submit a work of art! Submit documentation of your cleanup and photos of your project by the deadline to be considered for inclusion in the group exhibition.
Exhibiting artists or groups will receive a stipend of $100.

All Trash to Treasure workshops are also Utica Creative Reuse Donation Sites! Feel free to drop off your donations of unwanted art materials or supplies.
