Join us tonight, Friday, July 12, at The Other Side Gallery from 6-8pm at the opening reception for the Trash to Treasure Art Exhibition, a collection of found-object artwork by 14 local artists!

A group exhibition of found object art by local artists that challenges us to consider the capacity for reuse of items that are commonly discarded, and how we can create more sustainable art. This project is made possible through the CNY Arts Grants for Regional Arts and Cultural Engagement regrant program thanks to a New York State Senate Initiative supported by the NYS Legislature the Office of the Governor, and administered by the NYS Council on the Arts, with thanks to our fiscal sponsor, Mohawk Valley Economic Development District. www.trash-to-treasure.com

Trash to Treasure Events

While the exhibition is on view at the Other Side through August 3, we will be hosting a variety of events centered around reuse and upcycling! Join us for a free workshop, and shop used books and art supplies during one of our pop up shops!

You can also still find Utica Creative Reuse’s pop up shop at the Oneida County Public Market on Saturdays from 9am – 1pm!
