About the Trash to Treasure Art Challenge
The Trash to Treasure Art Challenge is an annual community art project that encourages the public to find new and unexpected ways to reuse discarded materials, and to start a conversation about how we can be better stewards of our environment, as individuals and as a community.
It starts with a Community Cleanup during Earth Week, and ends with a group exhibition of found-object artwork! Participants are encouraged to clean up litter in their communities and use objects found in their cleanups to create artwork.
